A junior table tennis career can be a hugely fulfilling and beneficial experience for children, helping to build self-esteem and confidence, physical fitness and to make friendships through shared challenges and to have much fun. 

In today’s environment, many employers and education establishments are looking for something extra in their candidates’ experiences and achievements: something over-and-above gathering academic grades. The dedication and commitment required to compete at the top of a sport demonstrates these sought-after qualities and helps young people to stand out from the crowd.

Table tennis is one of the most accessible and attainable sports: it’s suitable for just about everyone. Those who train regularly, rise to challenges and develop a positive attitude are those that reach the top and these are the attributes that are required - far more so than initial apparent table tennis talent.
